I love that tent, I have been using it for a long time and it has never had a problem. it is a North Face Tadpole 23.

Glad to know you’re doing well. I recently read a book about life in small town Alaska (If You Lived Here, I’d Know Your Name). I looked up the town (Haines, AK) to see if you’re anywhere near it, but it’s a long way from you in Hope. I forget what a HUGE state Alaska is. Glad you’re getting to see a lot of it. Jim D.

Hey Ben, sounds like a great trip! That’s a pretty long ways to hitchhike, I’m impressed. Dad and I hitchhiked when he got hurt hiking in N. GA, but we only had to go about fifteen or twenty miles. Both people who picked us up were in pickup trucks…
