This time I had two spares, but they were short stem, and I need long stem.. When I bought them, I told the guy I needed long stem, and he gave me one long stem and one short stem. I didn’t even think to check that both boxes were the same. We are in a city though, and there is a bike shop a mile back that Jason has gone off to get two more spare tubes…

I think I have a perfect mental image of Fred. That story was too funny to be a “tall” tale. I actually saw on the news about the closing of HWY 1 d/t the fires. I wondered if that would affect you all. Sure enough. By the way, Jason, Dr. Foust wants to know when do you get back in town? Good luck w/ the rest of your trip. Love, Dad
